We believe that spending hundreds of gallons of water per car wash is just too much! At Washos, we choose to promote the waterless wash, a modern and advanced detailing technique proven to not only be better than just regular soap & water, but also safer for the environment.
"What are eco-friendly or waterless supplies?"
Waterless supplies are specifically designed for car detailing. They contain lubricants that encapsulate dirty particles and allow our technicians to efficiently wipe them off using microfiber towels. The solutions also contain certain compounds (similar to waxing or polishing) that protect, clean, and sanitize your paint and other automotive surfaces (plastic, rubber, leather, cloth).
"What is the main difference between a water-based wash & the eco-friendly wash?"
The waterless is more efficient than regular soap & water, as its effects last longer. Furthermore, the supplies used are not harmful to the environment! The compounds contained in these supplies will get your car cleaner and protected longer against outside contaminants, acid rain or road debris. With soap & water, you will need to wash your car more often; by doing so, you also remove any kind of protective wax you may have on your clear coat.
"Does it scratch my car?"
Not at all! What scratches your car is the use of old and worn rags, combined with the wrong cleaning supplies (notably, household supplies many people use for their car). When using waterless supplies, all the dirt and dust on your car will be effortlessly lifted, and removed thanks to the lubricating compounds they contain. Microfiber towels will then capture these particles and wipe them off the car without abrasively rubbing your paint.
